Transform Your Smile with Long-Lasting Dental Implants

Are you tired of hiding your smile due to missing or damaged teeth? Do you struggle with eating your favourite foods or speaking clearly? If so, it may be time to consider dental implants.

Dental implants are a long-lasting and natural-looking solution for missing or damaged teeth. They are surgically placed in the jawbone, where they fuse with the bone over time. This creates a secure base for the replacement tooth, making it look, feel, and function just like your own.

There are many reasons to consider dental implants:

  • Implants can improve your smile, giving you the confidence to laugh, smile, and speak with ease.

  • They’re easy to care for and maintain, just like your natural teeth.

  • Implants can improve your overall oral health. Implants preserve the surrounding teeth, making it easier to keep your mouth healthy.

  • Implants are a long-lasting solution. With proper care, they can last a lifetime, making them a cost-effective investment in your oral health.

Don’t let missing or damaged teeth hold you back any longer. Contact Henley Dental today to learn more about dental implants and how they can improve your life.

What Can You Expect on Your Dental Implants Journey with Henley Dental?

Your First appointment

Your implant dentist will assess your suitability for dental implants at your first appointment. After looking at your teeth, we will take some x-rays, scans, and photos of your smile, so we can create accurate 3D digital images using our innovative software.

We will then take you through the tooth implant treatment plan, answer any questions you may have, and provide you with a preview of how your smile will look after treatment.

Your Individualised Treatment Plan

With all of this information, we create a unique treatment plan based on your smile and lifestyle.

It may be the case that treatment is needed to address any oral health issues before placing the dental implants.

Treatment Procedure

When you are happy with the treatment plan, you can approve it and begin treatment. This procedure only takes less than half an hour, but there may be other steps involved in getting your teeth replaced if you want them done professionally and with great results!

The implant placement is not usually painful at all – it is easier than tooth removal. One implant takes less than half an hour to be placed.

If you are nervous or experience dental anxiety, we offer music, Netflix, or sleep options to help take your mind off the appointment. This ensures that you remain comfortable throughout the entire treatment.

The Healing Period

The tooth implant healing period varies from patient to patient, however, it generally spans an average of 6 weeks to 4 months.

Your Final Appointment

At your final appointment, once the tooth implant has healed your dentist will ensure that all the implants are securely fixed, and then produce a cap to be supported by the implant.

From there, you can smile, laugh, and eat without worry!

Aftercare

Just like natural teeth, you should have regular checkups at Henley Dental to ensure that your dental implants, as well as your entire oral health, are in the best shape possible.

  • How much do Dental Crowns cost?
Dental Crowns can range in price depending on the material used in the crown and the size of the tooth. Crowns can be made from porcelain, ceramic, and metal, but porcelain crowns are the most popular because they look more natural since they can be colour-matched to your existing teeth. To find out more about our pricing, feel free to contact us to discuss our payment options.
  • How long do Dental Crowns last?
The lifespan of a crown can vary between 5 and 15 years. Some crowns are sturdier than others, and may last 25 - 30 years. Just like natural teeth, you need to maintain Dental Crowns properly with regular 6-monthly check-up appointments, and brushing and flossing at home.
  • Is the Dental Crown procedure painful?
As with most types of dental work, many patients express concern about possible pain and discomfort involved with the procedure. However, the crown process is incredibly common and is typically very easy for both the dentist and the patient, resulting in minimal discomfort throughout the entire process.
  • How long does it take to see results?
Using our CEREC machine we can create same Day Dental Crowns so in just one consultation you can see results. However, treatment times vary from patient to patient, some people see results after 2-3 visits if other dental work is required.
  • Can I use my Health Fund for Dental Crowns with Henley Dental?
In some cases, the answer is yes. If you're insured, there is a good chance your health insurance policy covers your Dental Crown treatment. Most private health insurance funds cover dental care as part of their General treatment, Extras, or Ancillary section. If you have any price-related questions, feel free to contact us on: (02) 9763 7889 discuss our payment options.
